If I can ever wear the real small dresses in my closet I will dance a happy dance but I already wear some of the medium stuff I had outgrown!!!! Nothing is as satisfying as shopping and wearing stuff that has sat in my closet for a long time.

I've always read that you should give away or throw out clothes that no longer fit you. But I am way too frugal for that, and so I just stored them away. Now I can fit into almost all my old clothes - even having to take in the waist and the hips on some slacks. What a great concrete reminder of all the weight I've lost, even better than some abstract number on the scale.

I'm finally wearing clothes that I've sworn that I will fit "eventually". I'm even wearing sizes that I haven seen in years. It's a good feeling.

The only way I'll be able to shop in my closet is to lose anywhere from 20-40 pounds. I wear a size 16 or larger, and my closet has clothes in sizes 10P-14. It's not going to happen in less than 2 years, if at all.

emoticon on shopping in your own closet. Clothes are so expensive anymore.

I am below my goal weight. I am not eating enough the doctor said. I told him it was difficult with the diet I am on so he told me to eat, eat, eat. I came back and they said you can't have that. I said the doctor said eat, just not to eat organ meats. They won't give me beef anyway which I don't really care for anyway.

I may need to re-stock MY closet. I just tossed a lot of things that are now too big for me. Now I need to fill up all the empty spaces. emoticon

I was thinking to myself just this week that if I keep up the same rate of progress for the next two weeks that I'll be backing myself into an old wardrobe and am incredibly excited about it. :)

Hi all,

Along the same lines I had to make another hole in my belt so it would keep my jeans up a bit longer... Until my smaller jeans fit again and I can throw these away :-)

I just went through all the clothes I own and discovered I can wear almost all my skirts again! Hurray! It's cheaper and nicer to shop in your own closet than the mall. emoticon
