I have been getting stronger in my meal choices when going out to eat. My husband and I went on a day trip to visit the WWI museum and eat at the restaurant on site. They had so many interesting sandwiches with fries to choose from, but I chose the spinach and pear salad with grilled chicken, dressing on the side. It was delicious and I ended up using less than half of the dressing that would have been included in the salad otherwise. I felt so empowered by being in control enough to make that healthier choice. I am feeling less and less like food is controlling me and more and more like I am in control of the food I am choosing to eat. WooHoo!
