Everyone gets 'redo's' until the day we die-here's to the first day of many more

Get Real...
1) It took months to lose my first 100# and get healthy in 2008/2009...keeping it off for two more years...now, after FIVE years of poor choices, ALL the weight is back, but I KNOW what to do to get healthy once again-just not what to do to make it LAST! YET!!!

2) Just because I get fit & lose the weight doesn't mean I'm 'cured' from emotional eating-it just means I have great perseverance

3) FOOD/proportions are KEY to losing & maintaining weight loss

4) Exercise is crucial for me to keep the endorphins kicked in and to have the tone to handle the weight loss

5) When I look in the mirror, I want to know I've done my best & accept who I am, for where I am & go from there...


Back to Basics

1) Actually stick with my goals-one meal at a time, one workout at a time...

2) Get back to basics-more calories used than calories taken in...

3) Keep my purpose/goals in mind-and just 'do it'-no excuses...

4) 5% weight loss or 1 dress size-whichever comes first!!!

5) Keep the SP 'friends' I've made & meet/make at least 1 more

My Goals:
1) lower cholesterol, blood pressure & glucose levels
2) exchange poor habits for healthy ones
3) CARE about how I feel-physically, emotionally & spiritually


My Program:
1) track nutrition and fitness minutes
2) use the equipment & knowledge I have to regain focus & build momentum
3) hold myself accountable each & every day
4) learn from others & ask for support as well as give it when needed



Personal Information:
Having just lost my oldest brother to a host of health issues, it's hitting home that I'm not invincible and that my poor choices are catching up with me...I'm a few years away from retirement & I want to ENJOY years of travel and grandchildren!


Other Information:
As one who has always struggled with self-image & confidence, I'm getting too 'old' to care about the little things, so being active, making better nutrition choices and taking it one day at a time is where I'm at today!

    Thanks for your encouragement on my blog, Trying to get it right. I noticed that things are different for me now than we I started SP too. I didn't really have much stress the first time and now my mom has been having health issues since last March. I am a stress eater.
    The weather is so beautiful this weekend, maybe I can start my walking routine again. (Walking instead of eating!)

    It was so wonderful to have cool weather today. It has been so long. I went to the zoo and persuaded my husband to come join me.
