My goal.. "To choose the better option every time!"

I do like "QUOTES"

"Never make someone a priority in your life who makes you an option in theirs"

"Failure to exercise, frequent snacking and poor dietary choices are the common reasons for weight loss failure after gastric sleeve. " - remove the last three (3) words

"It is easier to do a Job Right than to explain why you didn't.”- Martin Van Buren

My over active elbow consistently conveyed too much food, too often, to my mouth. (still working to over come that disability!?!)

My Goals:
To accept God's love, to let myself believe God truly does love me unconditionally. To make my learning a new better-for-me life-style a top priority in every moment of my life. Rather than a sometimes affair.

My Program:
I am in the process of learning "NEW" Healthy habits with the goal of their becoming my "Normal" Living habits. It may take the rest of my life to get my body to its healthiest weight. I prefer slow loss to my new forever weight as I grow the habits to support my healthier weight..

Personal Information:
I just LOVE old movies (40's and 50's especially) "Random Harvest" "Mr. Chips" "Pride and Prejudice" "Singin in the Rain" AND how about the music!! BIg Band (Glenn Miller, the Dorseys) the singers: Frankie Laine, Perry Como, Billy Eckstine

Other Information:
I am an American with ancestors from other countries and ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary War (and other wars since). I live in the Northeast in one of the New England states, New Hampshire. I live in an old body (with a young soul), am retired, a widow, & have 3 middle-aged children(?).
on 3/15/15 I started to update this.. the update disappeared. thus I took that as a sign I should leave well enough alone.
12/30/2016 I have two living (50+ yo) children. my daughter died November 9, 2015 sudden death by brain aneurysm. family will probably never truly recover from the loss... and I think of Todd Fisher losing his sister and mother on the 27th & 28th of this month. he does still have 2 half-sisters, so not quite all alone.

I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands. When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands; then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat. For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that.

I loved your comment on my page. I sent links to the conference in private messages because I was limited in the number I had available. It was very hard to choose who to share them with, and I didn't' want anyone to feel left out or excluded. They are already working on next year's conference, and while they plan on having a live conference again, they are also trying to find a way to do it online again. Not everyone can afford to travel to a conference, but can still benefit from it virtually.

I'm not sure how many years the James River Church in Springfield, MO has been holding the Designed for Life Women's conference, but it grows bigger every year. I have attended twice, and both times there were over 10,000 women in attendance from all over the world. They considered canceling it this year, briefly, then decided to do it virtually. A couple of years ago they were invited to Vienna, Austria to help train them establish one in Europe. It is a fantastic experience in person, but I really enjoyed it online too. It just happened to be going on live the day after my surgery, so I got to sit in my easy chair and enjoy it. They set up small private facebook groups of people who were watching so they could chat and share prayer requests and just connect with other women. They gave me access to watch on demand so that I could have the opportunity to watch again when I was more fully alert. Because I had paid for 2 conferences, they allowed me to share the links with a limited number of people. It was hard decide who to share them with, cause it's really hard to know who will actually watch and/or benefit from them. Being online, more than 38,000 women have tuned in so far, from all 50 states, and 38 other countries. They update that info daily, so there might be even more countries now. I've already signed up to go next year, being the eternal optimist. If I plan in advance, it's much more likely to happen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Hi Audra. Thank you for visiting my blog. As for travel, I will go to the Outback
in about 3 weeks. It is already high 30s and it will be stinking hot. We are taking
one of those old trains with a sleeper. Meals and high tea included. The place is
Longreach and that is where our national airline originated. It s the 100th anniversary
so there will be celebrations. Nearby there is the town of Winton which is famous for
the dinosaur findings. Their museum is supposed to be the best in Australia.

It will be a mini break. Another couple who are coming with us are renting a car, so
that will be a good way to et around. Plus it is good to support local communities.
We are flying back on an old plane with propellors. Should be great. I wanted to go
to Greece this summer, but our Government won't allow anyone to leave the country.

Ah well, I have to just wait and hope that next year I can go as it is the 200th Anniversary
Of Independence after 400 years of Turkish rule.

I hope you are staying safe and well. I'm glad it has cooled down for you.
It's getting hot here now - and humid. emoticon
