Introduction Text REALLY excited about Spark and my Spark teams. I'm in my late 60s and retired. Working out and eating healthy are challenges for me sometimes. I LOVE hiking, camping, cross country skiing, snow shoes, and kayaking.. I want to get more fit to enjoy these activities with my friends, and to have more energy to enjoy my retirement! For 2020, I want to continue to lose weight, build strength and increase fitness, and make new friends and have adventures. I also want to reduce my cholesterol level, and reduce blood sugar. I am using a fitness tracker and step goals for 2019, and I am logging my food in a journal. I follow the NoS eating plan.But I am also finding a lot of support and good tools through WeightWatchers.

My goals are to increase strength and fitness, lose weight, and have more energy. A big goal for me is to stay positive and upbeat, and to not be negative toward myself or others.

My strategies for success are: Exercise every day for at least 10 minutes Exercise 200 minutes total per week Drink 8 glasses of water daily Eat 5 fruits and vegetables daily Reduce alcohol and sugar intake

I live in Central Oregon (the dry side of the state!)

I love to travel, and look forward to lots of adventures! I also love music and playing guitar with others.
