In my effort to get back to the basics, this is the first thing wrote in my original "introduction"

MY PLEDGE:

**I Pledge to do my best to work towards successfully meeting my goals for this year.
**I pledge to be kind to myself, to love and encourage myself, to have a sense of humor and to pick myself up when I fall, without castigating, berating or hating myself
**I pledge to surround myself with people who are positive and upbeat; who will love and encourage me. I will be there to love and encourage my friends as well.
**I pledge to set mini goals for myself so I am not overwhelmed and I will celebrate every success!
**I will find the joy in every day! I will go through my day with an attitude of gratitude for ALL the blessings in my life.

Short term:

To reach 270 by 10/11/19

To complete a 6-week streak of at least 10 minutes a day of walking


Long Term:

DISNEYLAND!

Take a cruise

To travel on a plane and NOT have to ask for a seat belt extender and not worry that I'll be charged for two seats!

To travel to England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales

To walk into anyplace and buy something loverly right off the rack!


My Program:
Calorie counting and exercise. Simplicity and moderation.

I walk, dance, strength train and use my stair stepper.

Other Information:
I have a passion for Renaissance faires and all things Celtic; I am a voracious reader(to put it mildly! *LOL*). I have a wildly eclectic taste in music, although I can usually be found listening to classical Celtic and New Age music. I enjoy doing various crafts and simply to cook and entertain. I am a tree hugger from way back and love nothing better than to be out in nature, preferably near the ocean or in the mountains.
