Getting my life back


I am now retired. I work part time to keep busy but since I have a family history in which living to 100 seems to be a norm, I felt it was time to lose weight so the next 45 years are healthy ones.

My Goals:
To reach my normal weight of 125 pounds.
Losing the weight should lower my cholesterol.

My Program:
 I have a stationary bike, treadmill and sauna which I will use along with Yoga, Pilates.

I take vitimins and supplements.

    Thanks for your comment on my blog.

    My husband is not a good carpenter. You suggested we build a woodshed. He tried to build a toy box when our daughter was little and she couldn't reach what was on the bottom of it. I have pictures of her sleeping in it on the top of her stuffed animals. It is repainted and in the basement with bags of paper shreds in it for this heating season.

    He also tried to build a stand for my computer, but somehow the thing ended up being so tall that I would have had to stand, arms above my head to reach the top of it. We ended up putting a rod in it and using it for a closet.

    The funniest thing he did was use two kitchen chairs as sawhorses. He cut through the seat of one of the chairs with the power saw blade. We kept the chair until we got a used dinette set, it still functioned to sit on, but had a cut in it several inches long!
