My Goals:

 Eating healthier and keeping active!


Personal Information:
I retired December 31, 2017, after working for 44 years. I've worked for Family Court and Easter Seals (both half time jobs) for a year and 3 months. After that I worked full-time at the Community College where I moved to several departments.

Other Information:
 Hubby and I have three grown children, one living in Ridgecrest, CA, and the other two on Kauai. We have five grandchildren, two boys and three girls. Hubby has been retired since 2012. We are enjoying our retirement but are more busy then ever. I enjoy sparking and try to do a little each day.

I've been using the Samsung Health tracker and trying to walk AT LEAST 45 minutes or 10,000 steps.

I've also been decluttering and organizing my paperwork and important documents. I want to be prepared just in case...

    Tondi is a great paint teacher. We painted a tropical sunset scene. She is very good at teaching how to blend colors. I prefer 'in person' but this is adequate for now.

    I think the weather patterns are changing all around the world. I think for you 66 degrees is chilly. I would think the day would be chilly here, too, if during the summer when we've acclimated to 80-90 degrees, we had a 66 degree day. I'd be wearing a jacket.

    Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting! I had to laugh at your mention of Ridgecrest. I have been thinking for several years that coastal living is not going to be possible living on Social Security and my piddly retirement and I have been checking out the rents there in Ridgecrest. Could live a nice life there, but they quake, shake and roll a lot more! I have lived hugging the coast all my life but for 3 years, don't know how I'd do without the Pacific in sight! I'm the only one in my family not to have made it to Hawaii, had to cancel my trip due to storm there. Maybe someday.
