So, life happened and I fell off track. I was doing so well too. Lost 25 lbs in 3 months between 7/12-10/12. It was all going well and then WHAAP! Family problems-fatty on the go foods & no time for exercise. Holidays-more fatty food no exercise and loss of motivation New Year-Back to eating cheeesesteaks, fries chicken wings..etc, exercise who & back to dreaming of loosing the weight but ill do it next week while veging out on the couch. Well its been alot of next weeks and somethings gotta give! We'll see..No pressure.

HI! Im that token fat girl that everyone has in their lives, that can make everyone laugh and smile, that everyone loves cause shes so freakin cool, who is soooo pretty for being "that big" U know, that girl! I know I can continue that list!! Well, Im a 3-11pm shift working mom of 2 who has tried plenty of diets-even had the lap band placed! Buuut Ive always managed to make excuses to stop the dieting. I even learned how to work around my lap band and gain my weight back. But, im truly tired this time of literally watching my life and that of my children (my kids 8 & 11, have recently tipped the scales) pass by. I HAVE to stop this cycle before I see my children suffer as I have..I just cant continue making the same mistakes. Ive already started thinking more positively, eating healthier, stopped drinking soda, obtained my zumba dvd's & have prepared my children for the changes that are coming for all of our lives! Ok, so its only been 2-3 weeks but something is different this not putting any pressure on myself, Im hoping to loose 80 lbs by my 35th birthday (yea, its a year and a half away) i want to do this the right way this time around.. I dont want fast results I want healthy natural results! Its gonna he a gift to myself ;-) I can keep going but this is only supposed to be and introduction! So in closing, I love that I stumbled upon Sparkpeople, I hope I can use this to help me along my way to a healthy, lighter lifestyle. Fingers crossed!

My Goals:
As a 39th B-day gift to myself, I set a realistic goal of 80lbs by Feb, 2018!

My Program:
Right now, I really don't have a program. for almost a month now, I've been strictly watching what I eat, stopped drinking soda, started zumba and have incorporated my children as well! (I'm so proud of them) And, I cannot leave out my decision to join SparkPeople! I feel like this this is my time!!!

    If you're interested in the new (about 12 years old now. ..go figure!) research, let me know, & I'll point you to the links...or you could Google it yourself, asking those exact's how I lost my weight, but it's not a diet, it's a way of life, one that you could easily follow, if you just make your mind up to do it, that it is time.

    2012 is definitely the right time, as I'm sure you're aware of....
