My sister has lost 35 pounds and counting with spark people I want to join her in her quest to find her own self. I am looking forward to breaking out from behind my shell. (Update: My sister Raji has lost 55 pounds and met her goal weight, I uploaded a new pic of us, she looks amazing!!)

This time I have decided to lose 93 pounds which is the excess weight that I have put on since I stopped going to the gym. I was 150 pounds in July 2000. I had maintained that for 2 years. I was slowly gaining weight and then afterwards was expecting my first child I had gained a total of 90 pounds in just over a year. I had no proble maintaining that weight. I was never at the gym didn't even attempt to buy a membership. Enjoyed food and all the fun that went along owth planning elaborate meals.

All parties included all the greasy, fattening foods that I had come to love. I was Overweight and it never seemed to bother me. i knew I could not buy the latest trends. I could not shop at trendy stores. i had to buy plus sizes. I am now aware of the health risks tht come with obesity. I am lucky that I woke up before it was too late. I have three young children. @ daughter 5 and 7, and a 2 year old son. I want to be able to play in the park with them. My mom was overweight all her life. She had struggled with her weght for as long as I could remember.

I am ready for a lifestyle change. I want to look and feel good about myself inside and out.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 93 pounds by July 22, 2010 which happens to be my birthday.

I am currently 243 pounds and my highest probably was 248 in 2008. I have lost and gained between 10 to 15 ppounds here and there.

Soft Goals:

*Jan 1st, 2010 200 lbs (update missed goal by 5 pounds)

*Apr 15th,2010 175lbs

*Jul 22nd 2010 150 lbs

I will reward myself with a new wardrobe at the very end of my goal.

First goal reward is
20 lbs
Dinner at Nando's
200 lbs
new hairdo and facial
175 lbs manicure/pedicure
90 lbs
goal met

My Program:
I am going to the gym Mon to Fri 1 to 1.5 hrs

Strenght training Mon,Wed,Fri.

I am not eating fried foods, I am not drinking pop(soda) even thou I used to drink Coke Zero. I am eating healthy meals are are rich in flavour and good for me too. The most important I am drinking lots and lots of water.

I am from Toronto, Ontario. I now live 10 minuted north of Toronto in Markham with my loving husband and three children.My name is Aysha, I am 35 years old and want to grow old with my children so that I am able to be a fun active grandma.

Other Information:
I love reading John Gisham novels, Enjoy listening to R &B and Hip Hop I am easy to get along with and love food, yes,still do. But now I have learned and willcomtinue to learn to eat it properly and still enjoy it to it's fullest.
