I soaked the wooden sticks in water for a few hrs. This keeps them from burning on the pit. Then load them on the sticks. I used generic canola spray oil. Spray all sides lightly. I then used Ms Smith salt free mixed seasoning. Sprinkled as I turned. 244 days ago
