Update: Feb 18, 2020.

Back at goal again!! Was at 127 now back down to 115!!!! Hey if I can do this so can you. My biggest change was cutting out most carbs and just eating less.

No simple solution, but determination helps. Hope this helps someone, if you have any questions or just want a supportive friend I'm here!!!

Update: Nov 1st 2019,

Back up to 127 due to laziness. Simple and pure laziness. I am starting again today. But I have done this before so I know I can do it again. Good luck everyone.

UPDATE January 18 2013,

I am back at goal and have lost a total of 32 lbs. Now I need to research about how to maintain my weight. If anyone has any tips for maintenance please share.

UPDATE December 19 2012.

I herniated my c6/c7 disc in my neck in January and had surgery (neck fusion) this July.

I am feeling a lot better now after having my surgery and am almost back down to my goal weight. I have SLOWLY started incorporating my old workouts back. But I have modified them a bit so as not to strain my neck.

Super excited to be back on here after rehabing for so long. Best of luck to you all!

Sept,2011.Baby boy is here. Now I am on a mission to lose 32 lbs and get back down to 110 lbs.

*UPDATE* As of Aug 3/ 09 I am in maintenance..I am down to 105 lbs :) Good luck to you all!!!!

Hi all, I'm Belle and I live in Vancouver B.C.

My weight always lingered around 110 lbs but when I quit smoking 4 yrs ago I traded the smokes for food and put on 25 lbs. Then last year I was motivated and got down to 120 lbs...But due to laziness/complacency or whatever I was soon back up to 135 lbs. Which is where I'm starting from now. I'm determined to make changes now. :) Time is marching on and I'm here to be accountable.

I'm 5"3 and I weigh 135 lbs today. My goal is to get back to 110 again. That's when I felt the healthiest and most confident. I don't think of these changes as a diet..I know they have to be a way of life for me or I will be back where I started.

I've learned that there is no quick fix, magic pill or anyone that is going to do this for me. I am not going to lose this weight overnight and that's okay. I am here to get support and would love to give support too. I want this for myself and am willing to do what it takes to lose and maintain my weight.

I am a hairstylist/cosmetologist.

I'm so glad I found this site..I have found so much helpful info and I love looking at people's sparkpages. They're very inspiring!!!

My Goals:
My goal is to maintain and tone up and do it in a healthy way. I will maintain and stay between 120-115 lbs.

Drink 8 glasses of water/daily

Stop eating after 9pm

Drink green tea

Take my vitamins

Journal food everyday(either on here or in my journal book)

My Program:


Eat 3 balanced meals a day and save a snack for after dinner. I guess the plan that I find works best for me is just counting calories.

I cut down on alcohol :) and cut back on sugar too.

Gluten free as of July 2013.

My fave snacks are:

Whey protein shakes
Fibre 1 bars-140 cal
Skinny cow ice cream-130 cal
Laughing cow light cheese-25 cal
roasted seaweed snacks-20 cal
diet pepsi(on occasion)-0 cal
jiffy pop 100 cal popcorn
nestea singles-5 cal
