My goals for 2020 are:
1) lose 24 pounds, that is just 2 pounds/month and very doable
2) improve my eating habits, avoid carbs, and lower my A1C
3) do an overnight hike with hubby, while I do camp, I have never done an overnight hike
4) increase sales in my ETSY shop by adding at least 1 item a month from stash

I will be doing 45 minutes of aerobic exercise every day, and strength train at least twice a week.

For my 5% weight loss challenge I will be following a low carb, high protein diet.

My Program:
I love hike, and try to get 10 miles a week. That isn't always possible, so we have a treadmill for bad weather. I have also had to adjust my diet for a fatty liver condition and pre-diabetes. To do that I will limit processed and prepared foods, concentrating instead on preparing my own meals from scratch with natural products.

I'm a member of the 5% Challenge Casual Travelers team. I've made many friends and received encouragement and support over the past year.



Personal Information:
I am semi-retired and love to spend my time sewing and making quilts. Since my dad passed in April hubby and I have been helping mom with the farm work. It can be difficult balancing farming, sewing time and exercise time, but that is what life is all about.
