I spent 45 minutes in the pool, 30 swimming, 10 doing some leg exercises and 5 just relaxing. I also did a 15 minute cardio workout right after breakfast. I'm feeling wonderful today.

I am a 50 + grandma of 3 soon to be 5 ( my son is marrying a lady with 2 kids) I went from 190 to below 150 in 2016 but just after reaching my goal I had a complete hysterectomy which factored into me gaining all my weight back. I kept the weight off for about nine months and I gradually regained it. First off, I was losing weight to quickly and didn't know how to maintain my weight after I had lost it and started to eat a little more than I had been. Second, the hysterectomy lead doctors to discover that a tumor that had been removed with my ovaries was cancerous and I had made several trips to a cancer center to make sure cancer didn't speed before the surgery and the stress didn't help any. Then I got involved with someone that cares a lot less about his health than I do and my physical activity declined more than I liked it too and before I knew it I had regained every pound I had lost. I now want to lose 50 or more pounds because I want to enjoy the rest of my life especially the time I spend with my grandkids. Stress is still a big factor with me having problems reaching my goals. I think now that I am using Spark again I might not be as stressed.

My Goals:
To lose 50 or more pounds, to lower my blood pressure, and to get my cholesterol where it should be.

My Program:

Personal Information:
I am 54, 5, 3" and 190 pounds. I found Pahla B's fitness over 50 workout videos that I have been since February and I love them. They are all low impact , standing exercises that I find quite enjoyable and I actually look forward to doing and try to 5 to 6 days a week. Plus I am walking between 2.5 to 3 miles a day with a goal of 5 miles a day . Any other issues I had should change now that I am using spark again.

Other Information:
I am bipolar with bouts of depression. I have been to the er because of a severe anxiety attack that I actually thought was a heart attack and I pulled off the road once because I had one and couldn't breathe or quit shaking and had called 911 but they just sat with me until I was able to breathe better and my blood pressure was under control.

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I was really feeling completely discouraged but so far, the wheat-free diet seems to be helping. I even was able to walk some gently sloping paths yesterday without breathing distress! I know it will take time and effort but I definitely am feeling more hopeful. I wish you success on your journey to health as well! We can do this!!
