Introduction Text Since around 40 (surprise!) I've been struggling with my weight. This was an entirely new thing for me. Growing up I was very thin, didn't break 100 lbs until after I graduated from high school - and I was almost 5'8"! That first year out of high school I gained 12 lbs (yea!) and the following I gained another 8 lbs. And I joyfully maintained that weight, except during my three pregnancies of course, until I was about 40. Since then it has really gotten out of control - I lost weight a couple of times, but didn't keep it off. It's time to get myself in hand and stay healthy - AND prepare for my son's wedding in Hawaii next May! Yes, I want to look decent in a swim suit - but I also want to be able to walk and hike and swim and have a delightful time without losing my breath and without succombing to the heat and humidity. I'm tired of being tired!!! Can't wait to get to know some of you! What an incredible site this is - and what an incredible opportunity!

I want to drop 30-40 pounds and increase my endurance and strength. A new goal: I REALLY need new undies, but I refuse to buy them until I am down at least one size! So, that is another goal - I want some "ungranny" undies!!

Eat less, excercise more and be positive!
