I have come to realize, rather through life or age, that I need to focus on a lifestyle change rather than just a diet. That is why I am so glad that I am apart of Spark People.

I am reminded of a quote I heard once, If you think you can, you will, if you think you can't, you won't. This battle that we face with weight is fought first in our mind. We have to think about something before we reach for it, it is at that moment we make a decision. Do we know why we are eating, is it because we are hungry or just to fill another need? Are we eating because we are hungry or is it an emotion that we are trying to stuff?

There is a winner in each of us, we just have to reach down deep enough to find it & when we do, nothing can stop us from reaching & maintaining our goals.

My Goals:
I constantly work on changing the way I look, think and relate to food. I am establishing new habits and ways to resisting temptations. I set daily goals, mental, nutritional and fitness and report my progress on SP.
My goal is to reach my goal weight of 155 by December 2019

My Program:
Low carb and whole food

Personal Information:
As I have gotten older my health has become more important to me,not just weight loss. I am looking for accountability and ways of doing things differently than I have in the past.

Other Information:
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Nothing taste as good as being fit feels.
