I am a Mother of 2 full time mom and really unhappy with where I am at this point in my life weight wise. I can be reached at you can also use that email to find me on myspace. I have now been with sparkpeople 6 month and I have lost 40 plus pounds thus far. I am still along way from my goal. I am married but most of the time he is at work so I dont have to be that way one of us is always home with the kids. I am doing my best to spread the spark here in the burbs of detroit. People at the store will see me reading lables then putting things back and some with stop and ask me why I am putting things that say DIET back and I tell that that just because it says DIET does not make it good for my life style change. Then I tell them what I have learned here. Most will ask me for the website and of course I tell them. I am so proud of how far I have come I am not going to quit ever. To me this is not a diet but a major life overhaul. My kids are eating better we were a pop drinking family befor I started and now I hardly buy pop. I am making sure the things we do drink has less sodium ( for me zero sodium) I have had people look at me funny when in a restarunt cuz I will order water and pull out my rasberry ice crystal light to mix in it. I love those crystal lights to go. I am starting to feel like a child again when I am out with my girls. I think they are even starting to notice that I am not as much of a home body that I was 6 months ago. I am still not going out much for adult things but I will get there. My kids have never seen me on skates and I have done that with them in the past week.

My Goal is to lose 115 pounds. So I can be healthier and more active with my kids. I guess you can say I am tired of being the frumpy parent. Both my girls are cheerleaders

My Program:
I have cut out pop completely and also eating healthier watching the calories close trying not to go over 1000 a day. I have set a goal of 10,000 steps every day havent hit it yet but I am trying

    Happy Fall...I too love the "to go" packets of Crystal Light (I mix them with more water then they recommend..I don't like them super strong!). Have fun sparking! emoticon
