Introduction Text Hi, I am a retired teacher and a farmers wife to a very handsome talent amazing supporting man for 46 years. We leased our farm, sold our pigs we raised, as well not having 28 horses, of our brother-in-law when it wasn't hunting season. Sadly our Brother-in-law, who is missed greatly. passed away and his Outfitting business and horses were sold. When the new owner of the horses came to get them, he didn't see our dog. He ran over her with the horse trailer. We had to put her to sleep. So hard! Before that my dog and I would walk out in our pasture for hours. Once my dog saved me from being attacked by a female coyote with pups. Another time she warned me of a rattle snake. I was home very quickly and letting my husband know. We also had the horses in the pasture. They would come to get cake. When my Brother-In- Law that he was coming to get the horses, my dog and I would go out in the pasture give them cake and they would follow us in. One, Huey, would put his head on my shoulder as we walked. I could easily lead them into the corral and shut it. When A & J came, they were ready to load up and bring them back after hunting season to pasture in our coulee. With the new owner of the horses was getting all the horses and my dog had passing away in same day, my life out in the pasture ended. I had such a hard time going out to the pasture, After they were gone I would go up to where one of our reservoirs., I would sit and draw. We then had a drought the reservoir dried up and the beautiful tree around it died. I did walk on our road, but not as fun, but probably safer. With not as many chores, being retired, health issues and not as many obligations since our son graduated, and no more chores other than household and yard chores, I started to gain more and more weight becoming a couch potato. Thanks to my neighbor and friend, she started me on Sparks. It has been the twenty-eight days and I am starting to lose. I have a very long way to go to lose weight, but with her continued support I can. I appreciate her help greatly.

My present goal is to be down twenty pounds before March 17 when I see my doctor. My main goal by summer is to be able to get on my knees and up easier when working in my flower bed. It also will make it easier to walk, not falling, and being able to get up if I do.

I have no complete program, but to continue the great suggestions from this Spark site, since I completed the 28 days.

I have a wonderful caring son that is married to a beautiful sweet girl. They have two fantastic boys, which I love greatly. I am very proud of him. He is a manager in a store and is a wonderful father. His boys are his shadow when he is home. The boys are lucky also to have a very caring loving Mother. My son is also a encouragement for losing weight. Lost 90 lbs. several years ago and has kept it off by cooking healthy foods and is a excellent cook. When they are home, he is in charge of barbequing. Always excellent.

I love animals greatly, but only have two outside cats. My sister-in-law laughs and says she hasn't seen an animal that doesn't love me. We had three inside cats since they were kittens. Two of them lived to be twenty and one was killed sadly by coyotes.
