My name is Charlotte. Once upon a time I was at goal weight. Physically I looked pretty good but inside I was a mess. I had extreme anxiety and I felt like I was losing it mentally. With counselling I discovered that I have OCD and went on a medication to help get over the hump. Three years and fifty odd pounds later I knew I had to do something because this wasn't working. After discussing this with my doctor I went off the medication but still didn't lose weight...although at least I wasn't gaining. I decided to train for a marathon and doing that I lost just over ten pounds and toned a little. After I completed my marathon I decided to try the 21 Day Fix Extreme and do the nutrition program that comes with it. I have completed several cycles and lost about eight pounds. I needed a break and decided to switch it up by trying Insanity Max 30. I am halfway I have lost weight but am going to wait until the end to tally the weight and inches lost. I am not where I want to be but I am on the right track and enjoying the journey. Being a heavier weight has changed how I think because it made me realize that I am the same person regardless of what my body looks like. I have also changed my outlook on food. I now eat to fuel my body and fuel my body so it can perform properly. My soul is the same. I am putting one foot infront of the other and doing my best. I look back on every day and thank God that I have had the strength and endurance to run every leg of the race that has been endowed to me. I look forward to more challenges and many more years to come. I know that I am going to live my life to its most grandest! This is to a incredible journey!

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is 125lbs but 135lbs is my more realistic goal. I'll see how I feel and how I lose. Hopefully my metabolism corporates and I lose like normal again! Not sure if my stretched twin skin will let me show defined abs but it is worth a try!

My Program:
I ran my first half marathon BMO Vancouver May 1 2011. It rocked! On May 3 2015 I finished my first marathon. My time wasn't what I wanted but the fact that I ran 17 miles injured and finished strong was life changing. I believe in making exercise and nutrition a lifestyle. To be successful in this you need to learn about moderation and discipline. I love to run and run about 15 miles a week and am currently doing Insanity Max 30. I am following a simple and easy nutrition plan that takes the guess work out and isn't difficult at all. I also have done Making The Cut, Insanity, P90X, T25, 21 Day Fix Extreme, PIYO, Les Mills Combat

My name is Charlotte. I live in Canada and I love it! My husband and I have been married for 15 years. I have three children. My daughter is 12 years old and I have 9 year old twin boys. l want to be healthy and fit. I want to be able to enjoy my life and family as I age. I want to be that 70 year old running a marathon and encouraging others along the way. I want my children to see me as inspiration and strive for a healthy lifestyle. I would like to see my family in family runs. As our children see what we are doing with our lives my wish is that they will be inspired as well.

    Well your reps are going to be depending on your goal. Most women should stay in that 12-15 range. What you eat and cardio are going to determine your weight loss.

    As for pull-ups have to try the old band trick? Depending on what type of pullup bar you have you can hook both ends of the band around the handles to the pullup bar and then place the band below your knee so it acts as a assisted pullup device. It works great for me!

    Hi, Charlotte! Nice to hear from you. I'm doing great! I think we have reached a better understanding with my daughter. It's such a relief because for awhile I really felt bad about it. Thanks for asking!!!

    I still worked out during those two weeks I was problematic but I finally resumed to better workouts since last week. Returned to my Turbo Fire workouts and have started with Chalean Extreme!!

    Go get em Charlotte! You'll do great! Just stay consistent and try not to keep up with the people on the videos. Do what YOU can do. I am still mixing it all up. Insanity, P90X, P90X+, running, everything. I am really getting excited for P90X2.

    I saw a message thread about broken toes. In it you wrote that your dr. said you would have healed quicker if you had come in earlier. What exactly did he do for the toe? I broke my 4th toe today, and I hate to think how long I'll have to give up running and dancing. emoticon
