Introduction Text I have had some health issues pop up, I have Kidney disease which is under control by diet and losing weight. This is an ongoing war for me, because I love flavor and good food, but I have had to adjust my attitude a lot, because I was recently diagnosed to have high blood sugar and pre-diabetic, which I have attacked with diet and a even heathier food list. Although it is slow going, I am losing, so I figure I am winning. My kidney GFR is up(YAY) and my glucose is almost to the normal range. WooHoo and YAY me. I CAN and WILL win! ! !

I would like to be healthier, get my glucose down where it should be, and my weight down to my goal ...cholesterol is great though and my kidney function is slowly coming up where it needs to be.

I am drinking 9 cups of water daily,eating a minimum of 5 Veggies & 1 approved fruits a day, had to cut back on the fruits due to sugar getting too high. I have changed to a mostly low carb diet. Exercising by walking & bicycling..

Married, we have 5 children between us.

Loved my Harley, but due to husbands' health issues, we had to sell them.
