WooHoo!!! First goal weight reached 12/18/08!!!! Second goal reached 2/6/09!!! Third goal reach 6/4/09!!! Down TWENTYSIX POUNDS!!! Actually, since June, I've lost OVER FORTY-FIVE pounds!!! Since August 2008, I've lost 11 inches off my waist, 6.25 off my hips, and 3.25" off my bust. Wow!! More inches than a ruler! I CAN do this!


First Goal Weight - 159 pounds - attained 12/18/08
Second Goal Weight - 155 pounds - attained 2/6/09

My Goals:
To change my lifestyle PERMANENTLY - my health, my fitness, it all has to change.

I want to get back into single-digit sizes and lose the rolls of flab. (update 1/8/09 - I'm in single digits and the rolls are smaller)


My Program:
I'm tracking nutrition, trying to balance my diet and watch snacks, drinking my water, and exercising. I've added back my pilates and Firm routines.



Personal Information:
I'm a 5'10" blue-eyed 45 year old single mother to a 19yo son who is {gulp} away at college. I have a long-term boyfriend who I've been with (mostly) for over ten years. I also have two cats and a spoiled dog. And I'm part of the sandwich generation - my mother lives next door!


Other Information:
Age is kicking my ASS!! So I'm kicking back.


MOTIVATION: I will not be the fat mom.

    Hi Dawn,

    Just wondering if you were still around sparking. This month marked the ten year anniversary of our class. Can you believe it? How have you been doing? I have not done as well as I had hoped by this time but at least I'm better off than when I started. It's been tough, but also fun and satisfying. Well even if you are not still sparking I hope you are still working on your healthy lifestyle goals.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs.
