We have the grandchildren over for dinner on occasion when the parents have to work late or have a meeting. We're flexible.

Good thing we're both retired. It makes it so much easier this way. And, we adjust as needed. Have a great Thursday!

I don't think I responded to your comments. I don't think your neighbor is worse. They have a fence made out of totan (which is iron roofing) which goes up probably 10-15 feet, they have animals (pigs, goats, sheep, chickens) and it can get really smelly. We have a stone wall that goes up to the side of our house, but they have a hedge between our stone wall and they also have a bamboo fence which makes it hard for them to trim the hedge. They have to stand on OUR wall to get to cut theirs because of the bamboo fence. It's kinda stupid because the bamboo fence was put up after the hedge was quite tall, but they put the fence in front of the hedge (on their side), so it's our wall, the hedge, and then the bamboo fence on their side. In order to cut the hedge (which is not ours), they have to get onto our property. I tell my hubby that he should just cut down the hedge even though it's not ours because the leaves fall into our yard.

Sorry about your troubles with your neighbor. We don't talk to our neighbors too so we're kinda in the same situation. Our neighbors are renters because the original owner decided not to live there. I wish they would be evicted! (How terrible of me to say that!) They are inconsiderate, they play loud music, they rev their cars (or try to start their cars that don't start at the first try), and the worse is the smell of their animals. Yuck! As I said I am hoping that one day they will move out. Sometimes they make pounding sounds (like someone is digging something) around midnight.

    Sorry for sounding off....

He said it isn't very painful, but it looks terrible. It should clear up within two weeks. His arm is still a little sore, not quite back to normal, but much better than a week ago.

Our weather is crazy. It's been sunny with rains in between. It's been rather cold for us (65 to 66 degrees). You must think that 65 is not "cold" but for us it is.
