I'm a retired psychology professor. I've lost 50 pounds in the past several years. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes 15 years ago but have tight control (HbA1C 5.7) using metformin, diet, and exercise. I either walk on a treadmill 30 minutes and ride an exercycle 30 minutes or walk outdoors 1 hour daily. I also have sleep apnea that was diagnosed 20 years ago, although I have had it most of my adult life. I use a BiPap every night. I have heart disease and had 3 stents placed in my right ...

I either walk on a treadmill 30 minutes and ride an exercycle 30 minutes or walk outdoors 1 hour daily. I have heart disease and had 3 stents placed in my right coronary artery in 2012. I also have occluded small coronary arteries which cause angina.
I have been married for 56 years (June 2016) and have two daughters, both happily married, five grandchildren, and a great-grandson. Our middle grandson was killed in an auto accident ten years ago. He was 19.
We are both retired and love to travel. You can tell this from my photos. We usually take one month-long international trip and one month-long trip within the US every year, along with several brief road trips around Minnesota and South Dakota and down to Texas. In the last year our travel has been limited due to my heart problems and my husband's aftereffects of several small strokes.
