Introduction Text My name is Kelly. I am the wife to a wonderful, supportive husband and the mother to a beautiful 1 month old daughter. I have been overweight most of my life. I was very involved in sports when I was young, but even then I was still the thick girl. At this point in my life, I'm tired of the excuses. Ready to make a change.

my goal is to be optimistic and realistic in my weight loss. i am the type of person that will set unreachable goals and then get down on myself when i don't reach them.

my program is to not doing any "crash" dieting, that only comes back to bite me in the butt. I want to learn portion control and also just to eat healthier in general. I have started walking with my mom and would like to continue that and also add in some other exercises that i can do from home.

I have lived in Indianapolis all of my life, except for a 5 year stint while I was in college in Knoxville, TN. I have an amazing family that is supportive of my goals and that loves me regardless. My mom is my inspiration in this journey, I hope to make her proud!

Basically, there is no more excuses for me not to do this. I do not want this for anyone but me and I am ready to start this journey and get my butt in gear. Now I just have to stick to this.
