To be determined to do what is right for your health can be a difficult task if you do not do what is necessary wholeheartedly. Making up your mind to do what is right for your body takes a changed mindset and a redirected focus. Giving up is not an option.

So as I once again decide to improve my health, I have to change my mindset and refocus my direction to do what is right for me and what is right for my body.

I am so thankful and grateful for another chance to get this thing right. I am thankful for His mercies that are new and fresh every morning. I must not dwell on what happened yesterday, but I must focus on what is happening today.

So...I'm back. I am ready! I will do what I need to do to reach my goal no matter how long it takes. I will forgive myself for not making good and healthy decisions about my health.

Today is a new day! I am ready for a change! I cannot give up!!!

My Goals:
I will keep my mind focused on taking back my temple. The Lord gave it to me. I am His and He is mine. I will honor Him with my body.


UPDATE January 2018
-track my food faithfully
-exercise daily with intentional exercise
-get 6 hours of sleep each night

UPDATE September 2017
I will lose 2 lbs for my personal monthly challenge by October, 2017
I will track my food daily eating in the calorie range of 1200-1500 calories
I will do 20 minutes of exercise daily for upper, core, lower, and/or whole body
I will drink 6-8 glasses of water daily


UPDATE June 2017

I will lose 9 lbs for the summer challenge
I will track my food daily eating in the calorie range of 1200-1500 calories
I will do 20 minutes of exercise daily for upper, core, lower, and/or whole body
I will drink 6-8 glasses of water daily

My Program:
UPDATE October, 2020
-reduce sodium intake to 2000 mg
-exercise intentionally at least 10 minutes daily

UPDATE September, 2020
-1200 calories each day
-drink 8 glasses of water daily
-reduce sodium intake by 1400 mg

GOALS
I will be using a low calorie, low sodium eating plan
I will use SP trackers to monitor my progress
I will use more plant-based meals
I will exercise 5-6 days a week (Strengthening, Core, Cardio exercises)



Personal Information:
I am retired. I have been married for 45 years to the love of my life as of December 28. We have two grown daughters and one baby son who is with the Lord. One daughter is married and has a son, who is our bouncy grandson. Her husband is a wonderful son-in-law. Our youngest daughter is not married yet. She is our career driven child.
