starting a new chapter in my life


Hello I turned 62 in June and have been on spark on and off for a few years now. I recently retired.I am starting a new chapter in my life and am going to make the best of it.

my goal is to take one day at a time and each day find healthier meals. Keep myself in a more active routine.

 my short term goal is to lose at least a pound a week and then increase it to 2 pounds a week

    Hello, sorry i am neglecting you. It has been a bit wild since August. Computer issues One crashed and the other locked up for five weeks.
    Now I have had my second eye done and it has major problems. I might lose my eye Oh I hope not.
    It seemed to be going well till last weekend there were lights and black spots. I called and went back to Dr.
    Now I am using Prednisone eye drops every hour I am awake. It is a scary thought but I hope the prednisone is working. I am of course gaining weight and feel hungry all the time. I never do get hungry so I know the prednisone is powerful. I cannot use the computer too much. So sorry I have missed you. I still do my blog, do stay in touch. HUGS Pat emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Hi there it looks like you have found an awesome team.
    Sorry to be MIA, I have kept to blogging daily that way people know what I am doing here. I had cataract surgery the our 50th Wedding anniversary all my kids were there I took photos and then my faithful not very old lap top crashed. I had the hard drive check for photos and took the thumb drives home put them in the desk top and it is locked in family safety mode I never put it on there but it is in my name as a child?. No pictures now for a month.
    Next Cataract surgery Thursday that will slow me down once again, Then I will have no more double vision I hope. Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon
