My life has been a struggle. Two steps forward, sometimes five steps backwards. Basically in and out of physical accidents, emotional crisis, most bigger than life circumstances. It wears you down. How many times must I climb the mountain to finally stay there. Now is my final race,45 lbs up from a car accident. now healed after 12 1/2 years. Only to have perscription damage and go up 75 pounds-25 pounds at a time. Almost physically back to normal . Back to spark again where my cholesterol showed 35 points down when I was at my highest weight. Now I found out that I have a plak in a valve to my heart caused by the impact to the stiring wheel in that car accident. I am doing things to dissolve the calcium deposits in my front valve. But this is my last race, and my final one. I am trying to stay physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually stable. No more excuses to my self about whatever stress comes along and bing eating. This is serious! No more games. When I reach my goal, at the mountain top, I know I will get back so many things I have lost long ago, and I will try to just ignore the emotional hole I am trying to fill! I am a rock!!!

My Goals:
I would like to finally conquer my fears, and keep my health stable. As well as growing stronger in faith by knowing God's Word.

My Program:
I am learning more about maintaining a healthy life style, as well as cooking healthier. I am learning to release my fears to god, so that I won't keep this pattern of mindless eating which leads to self destruction.

Personal Information:
I am the daughter of immigrant parents, first generation. I was born over seas in a city in Germany that was like a resort, because the whole city was a spa. My family has some members named after the bible. I am the grand daughter of Joseph, and the child of Mary. I guess I am glad I didn't have a child, because I would have named him Christ-short for Christopher-or Chris Christopherson, ha ha. My mom remarried a chef when I was fifteen years old. But I never paid atten-tion to cooking till I was on my own.

Other Information:
I live in Michigan where we have four seasons. What has been constant in my life is that animals have come into my life. I have done rescue. "But little did I know they were rescuing me. I am very empathetic, and it shows in my writings. My unconditional love was shared by my animals. And they say that humans can never know this, except thru God.

Yes I'm a vegetarian so I don't cook with any animal products (well I use a little fat free butter)

    Are you a vegetarian?

“Renew, release, let go. Yesterday’s gone. There’s nothing you can do to bring it back.
You can’t “should’ve” done something. You can only DO something. Renew yourself. Release that attachment. Today is a new day!”

Eva, what profound words you wrote on my page! It really, for me, is about "letting go and letting God." Hard to do as a human with a free will. BUT that's where we have to do all we can to develop our relationship with HIm and our faith!

Hope you had a good Saturday. Snow today, but not a lot.

I think just follow your heart and your passion. what excites you, drives you, makes you want to get to that next page or next chapter. what a challenge but the rewards are awesome! What would make you feel proud to have the world read and it have your name on it? Ask your self these questions and then just start! Maybe it will be a combo of several of your ideas. have fun with it. you have a couple more months of winter, see what you can do to challenge yourself .. you will build that confidence too!!!

"Direct yourself, consistently and persistently, toward the places, situations, experiences, people and results that you wish to have in your life.
You have more than enough energy, opportunities and ability, when focused in a specific direction, to achieve whatever you choose.
So choose to choose. Decide how your life will be, this hour, this day, this year, this century, and live the true richness of making it happen."
