Just had a total knee replacement and my immediate goal is to rehab to the best of my ability. Then work on my total health. Better eating habits, regular exercise and daily readings. Keeping in touch with family and friends which as always been a priority for me. My mom always said "if you have your health, you have your wealth". True words from a special woman.

01/03/13 - planning health strategy, meals, exercise, accountability partners, and taking it one day at a time.

1/8/2010- First update in ages.....well after losing 26 i slowly began to put it back on as I went back to old habits and stopped tracking and exercising regulary. Well time to get back on track, learn from my mistakes, understand my successes and get motivated again. I am determined not to make the same mistakes.

3/2/09 Well I'm in my 9th week and I've dropped 21 lbs which is the first time I 've been able to stay motivated in ages and I believe tracking, measuring and working out regularly has really helped. Lots of great people on SP who are fun and motivating. Starting to feel better and actually was able to increase my treadmill speed from 4 to 4.6 and feel pretty good. Trying to alternate my exercises and stay motivated.

My Program:
Counting my calories on My Fit Pal
Excercising at least 3 - 5x per week for now and add strength training, cardio and fun activity.
Drink plenty of Water and get more than 4 hours sleep.
Stay motivated and fight the roller coaster diet ride.
Keep improving

Personal Information:
I enjoy golf, getting back into biking....think I need a padded seats. Love to travel and enjoy the outdoors. I like it all from the Ritz to camping.

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. The Dukan Diet is amazing. I have never lost weight so quickly yet so healthfully in my life!! I feel absolutely terrific. The book is really good, and worth reading. I have read many diet books, and have tried many. This one is working, and I am really enthusiastic about it.

    It is a 4 phase diet, starting with pure protein, then adding vegetables, and then adding carbs, until you are able to eat "normally" again. The guidelines of the diet are pretty easy to follow. The 17 Day Diet is very similar, and by using both you can really create a new way of eating. I have modified the diet to suit me, but the guidelines really help you to tailor the right combination for you.
