Introduction Text I am a blessed teacher, wife and now NEW MOM! I was diagnosed with a mild form of Lupus. I am more aware of my body and how nutrition, cardio, strength training even probiotics effect my daily energy level and overall quality of life. Cooking: My husband tries to eat plant based for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is usually vegitarian. Weekends on the other hand we go to family and friends who have meat with every meal. We balance things out and feel better after eating well!

Not let medicine or lack of energy get in my way! I let it take over and gained 20 pounds in six months. Now it's time to make changes!

Avoid fried foods, candy and cokes. Plant based during the week thanks to my hubby!

Originally I'm from Galveston Island area. I graduated Spring of 2011 from TX State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (ESL EC-6) and a Minor in Art & Design. I am a second grade ELA teacher and couldn't of asked for a better career!

I enjoy the outdoors and trying new vegan recipes!
