Hello and Welcome to my page!
I'm just another person working on becoming healthier. I didn't have a weight issue until I had 3 beautiful kids, now all teenagers. I have yo-yo'd and tried multiple fad diets over the years with only temporary success or no success at all. In January 2019 I started counting calories and watching my macronutrients. I am keeping close tabs on my sugar intake and know now that I was addicted to sugar. I'm feeling much better...the first 2-3 weeks were very rough, sugar withdrawal symptoms are a real thing!! My focus is not on the scale (weight loss will come with time), my focus is what I eat and drink. I am not "chasing the sweets" anymore!!! I am learning to love and eat fresh whole food. I am learning to read labels (you would be surprised at how many foods have hidden sugar in them!). I am learning this is not a diet but a liveit for the rest of my life! I blog daily to help keep myself motivated and also hoping my struggles and triumphs help others another their journey as well.
Thanks for stopping by! Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step!
Hugs,
Kammy
