okay so this is what i did normally i get up and get on the computer so i added sparkpeople to my tabs on my browsers...that means i won't have an excuse or be able to say i forgot 3071 days ago

Maybe you are one of those people who needs to make a food and exercise plan and enter it in...then just work from it like a plan for the day. At the end of the day just make any additions or adjustments that have happened along during the day.
I just log in and out of my spark tracker all day long...after every meal and snack....that works for me.
When I first started I carried a small notebook to track what I ate and the water I drank....then I entered all in the evening.
