I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

LOL, points to Larry for even attempting a cleanup. It amazes me how husband's eyes just don't see the messes. Love him to pieces anyway. emoticon Take some extra ME time for me. I've been angry twice today, and that's not usually me. I'm procrastinating on another estate related phone call. We got one of the worst snags sorted out, I think, but it took efforts from me and my sister to get some action. At the end of that one, I suggested that a monetary adjustment be made for all the unnecessary anxiety. "LIKE WHAT?" she said. "I leave it to your conscience," I sweetly replied. As to whether I see anything extra, I may or may not, but what happens next will determine what sort of review I write and whether to post on the Better Business Bureau. Grr. I'm still disgruntled. BREATHE.

emoticon I decided the pretty cardinal ornament I had bought for my mom is staying right where it is; it's too much trouble to wrap a fragile ornament to take to work and take a chance on breaking it. I will keep it in happy memory of my mom who would have liked it as much as I do.

emoticon I've gone to the gym on my lunch hour twice this week, and that's a move in the right direction. I'm not losing, but I'm not gaining either. Got to do better than that.

emoticon You will appreciate this because we've both done it. I accidentally closed a tab and lost a nearly completed blog. emoticon Bright idea: google "restore a tab I closed". It said do Control/Shift/T and voila!!! There was my restored blog! Now isn't that clever? Of course there's more than one way to lose a blog, but at least I was able to retrieve this one. emoticon
