I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

My name is Linda, I am 75 year old, or as I say 60-15. I am married to my very best friend, and a retired farmers wife, so I have worn a verity of hat. I have 3 grown sons, none who live near, 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Other Information:
I love to read, favorite writers are Steven King, Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, James Patterson, etc. I also like crossword puzzles, zig saw puzzles, gardening, and anything outside. My car is 18 years old. It was the fob that worried me...but no doubt I have been stressed lately snd doing too much at one time. It takes 3 keys to get into my apartment....garage fob, apartment security key, our unit——City Life.

Your pigs in a blanket sounds much heartier and healthier than mine! I'll have to check pinterest for a recipe and give it a try. I like the sound of beef over pork too. I haven't made a meatloaf in quite a while.

Husband has to wait for an MRI next week. With social distancing at the clinics, they take fewer patients at a time, so the wait for appointments is longer than usual. He got a scrip for steroids, crutches, wrap with ace bandage, and keep icing it. The poor dear is exhausted. So am I. It’s his knee. How about your son?

My hubby is taking a nap in bed which indicates just how bad he hurts. I’m glad he gave up and is resting. Mickey objects to the bowl of cherries I’m eating. He won’t even sit in my lap. Ewww. I love cherries. emoticon

How about you and I enjoy a coffee on the bench, surrounded by fragrant roses? If only we could enter your lovely banner, Linda. emoticon emoticon
