I'm 77. another years has gone by, and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on a Cpap at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a retired farmers wife. We do have some livestock, 2 miniatures horses, and 8 goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Thanks for the blog love on my knitting fits and starts. Today, knitting with a friend I finished the bottoms. They just need to be fitted!

So crappy to have energy but not enough to feel like doing anything. At least you do not need to have oxygen tanks tieing you down. I hope you continue to get well.

Agree, especially since the new stuff is mostly plastic and not made in US. My sister posted a Facebook rant about junky plastic toys, and we had a good time reminiscing about some of the stuff we had. One of my favorites was a metal CocaCola truck with shelves and removable little cases of Coke. I do appreciate that I didn’t get just girlie things.

Hope everything went well for Jason. Thinking of him and you today. It’s so gloomy at 3:30, I think I’ll turn the Christmas lights on. Making some pork and veggies stir fry for dinner. The cats’ bedding is in the dryer so Little Miss will have a warm blankie and cushion soon. She’s sulking about her basket not being right. emoticon

Thanks for the blog love about winning the thread race! Because I held the end of the thread I was able to get 3/4 of the way around a child's size mask. I wanted to use it to the very end. This also does not show all the times I ran out of bobbin thread 6" before the end of the seam!!! emoticon
