Introduction Text Eight years ago I started SparkPeople at my highest weight ever - 230 pounds. I got down to 196 lbs before life got in the way and got back up to 223. The expectation for retirement was that I would get my weight down to less than 200 pounds in a year or two. Didn't happen. Finishing the Fast Break stage of Spark Coach, I've decided it's time to set some goals - not only for my wellness journey, but for my life in general.

Big goal: Hitting the Appalachian Trail next year (only a short section) next year and training for that this year. Current Spark Coach goals: 1. Don't eat in front of the computer or television. 2. Walk every day. 3. Write in a journal three times a week.

Mostly just to keep doing what I'm doing but kicking it up a notch - getting more consistent with the strength training, walking more, drinking lots of water, and a relatively healthy diet. (Variety and moderation in all things.)
