FRAN: Don't know when you posted this, but kudos to you! It is the beginning of understanding this is a life-long issue, not a "diet". I know you will reach your goal. I have been here for YEARS and just now have found a way to manage my thinking (b/c that is where everything changes) that I think I will be able to really LIVE with long term. I think gratitude has the most to do with it for me. So keep on keeping on!! 3593 days ago

Thanks for the beautiful balloons! I have just not been able to find the time or energy to be active on SP this year so far. I am not sure when or if I can become active again. I hope you are doing well my friend.
Take care of yourself and I will try to do the same. Several health issues going on, but I am still blessed and grateful.

In case you have not read my blog saying so, I want to let you know personally that I am leaving SP at the direction of God's Spirit in me. Not sure what the future holds, but I sense that the time spent here is needed for that work that is coming to me.
I've been praying about what to leave my friends with as I prepare to leave SP. As I sit here today, knowing that I need to speak with each of you before I go, the thing in my heart is just to tell you like it is. I will miss you here on Spark. Spark is a very uplifting and positive environment, and that is because of friends like you. I will miss you, but I will not forget you. I am printing out my friend list with your pictures / icons and username on it, and I will be praying for you.
I have put a link to my FaceBook page on my blog for those who would like to stay in touch there, and I reset my privacy settings so you can friend me. Be sure to include your username in a message on the friend add so I will know who you are. Also, if you would like to receive my devotionals and articles, you can send me an email address via my SparkMail and I will add you to my mailing list for Darlene's Ponderings. Whether we meet up on FB or in our futrure I have you in my heart and will continue to hope for your good progress in life.
