Introduction Text Life is great! I have a wonderful and supportive husband. I have two children who make my world shine. I have been a middle school SpEd teacher since 1994. I love my job and my students. They inspire me and make me laugh. I feel very blessed. However, I do not have the energy and the stamina to do some of the things I want to do. I want to take longer hikes in the woods. I want to swim more laps with my students. I want to work all day and come home to play with kids. I want to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin. To do this, I need to lose weight and make healthier choices. This is why I am here, to learn to make the healthier choices.

I am trying to lose more than 100 pounds--one pound at a time. I am trying to make healthier choices to control my blood sugar and blood pressure. And, I want more energy!!

Trying to eat cleaner foods and exercise regularly.

I live in Nebraska. I enjoy hiking, swimming, and reading. My husband and I love watching movies together. My son is in high school. Now my daughter is swimming and participating in girl scouts. I am coaching special olympics track and swimming. DH keeps us all balanced and sane. We are a busy family.
