My name is Janice and I joined this group last year with the Motto "2008 - Get in Shape" but things happened and it did not work out as I wished that it would have. I weight about the same but definately have gained inches all over. But the main reason is that I lack in entergy, motivation and for my health it is now to the point I MUST lose some weight. I would like to lose at least 50 (or more) pounds.

I have been married for 25 years (husband is the same size as when we got married), the mother of two wonderful boys and have always worked outside the home, but was laid off from my job at the end of last year. Still do not seem to have time to get everything done, not sure how I got things accomplished while I was working

My goal to lose at least 50 pounds is so that I can get more energy for me and my family. Currently I take medicine for high blood pressure and heart palpations, hoping that the weight lose willregulate my BP so that I can get off all medications. I read the article in Women's Weekly about this website and know that I need all the help and support I can get, so I decided to give it a try. Saying every Monday I am going to start watching what I eat only to end by 12:00 noon I decided maybe this would help me to stay motivated. I look forward to meeting new people that have the same goals as I do and hope to get great results. Thanks in advance for the support.

Other Information:
I enjoy taking pictures and scrapbooking (Have not had time lately) but plan on starting again this year. Like spending time with family and friends.

    Hi there! Thankyou for leaving your comment on my page, its much appreciated and definitely helpful for keeping me encouraged and HOPEFULLY on track, lol. Its always a struggle but sparks is certainly helpful as far as someone to be accountable towards :). I like your motoe :).... and o8 rymes with get in shape... so you HAVE to do it this year :).. next year wont sound nearly as great to say! haha. I think i might use it to inspire me to do what "I" need to do this year! Trust me, i dont have it all together, haha. I'm having one of THOSE eating days, which ive been having allot of these days! I'm wanting to make more progress but i cant seem to do anything but maintain these days. I need some of my motivation too! haha... we all have our slumps and our highs. Thankyou for the comment on the magazine :). I'm SO excited. It seems almost unreal like it didnt happen now that the shoot is over and I'm just waiting for it to come out. it will be the neatest thing. I THINK it will come out either may or june! Its such a blessing to me for you to say what you said and that MY page could possible be the one that helps other people say to themselves "I can do that if she could" just like other people were to me a year ago. It's an honor because I could never have achieved what "I" have without other peoples pages inspiring ME. It was good to meet you and thanks again!
