My name is Jennifer and I am overweight. I live a fulfilling life with my husband and our 4 children. I am just about finished with my schooling to become a math teacher. At this point I am 50-55 lbs overweight. That is a lot of weight on a person that is 5'3". My entire family is healthy. They are involved in sports and stay active. That makes it a little harder for me to be the only person in our house that struggles with weight. My goal is to make myself healthy so that those values are instilled in our children when they may have to deal with some of these same issues.

Fitness Minutes: 2,469

My Goals:
Long range goal: Lose 55 lbs.

Mid range goal: Run a 5k on April 17th.
Sadly, due to my fractured shinbone, I was only able to sit and watch the others do the 5k. However, I am looking for another 5k once my doctor gives me the ok.

Series of mini- goals: Weight loss (start 200.4):
Goal - 55 lbs
20% - 189.4 lbs - Done: 6-15-11
40% - 178.4 lbs
50% - 172.9 lbs
60% - 167.4 lbs
80% - 156.4 lbs
100% - 145.4 lbs

Streak: 10 mins of activity a day (min 4 days per week)

My Program:
My current program includes running 3 times per week.
Running is stalled until my doctor gives me the okay to start over again. First, I have to get the boot off my leg!

My nutrition is still catching on, but I make sure I get fresh fruits/veggies everyday.

I also drink a min. of 8 cups of water daily.
