2015 - A Fresh Start


2014 was a really tough year and I'm looking forward to a new start. I have really fallen off of my exercise this year and need to make it a priority.

My Goals:
I would like to lose at least 30 pounds and get toned up.

I want to walk the entire Soos Creek Trail - 12 miles!

My Program:
 I am doing the South Beach Diet to try to kick-start my weight loss.


Personal Information:
I live in Kent, WA with my DH and 3 kiddos - ages 22, 18, and 15. Also: four dogs, one cat, and one bearded dragon. I love to do yardwork, read, crochet, walk, kickbox, play rhythm guitar with my sons who play fiddle and banjo, and watch my daughter Irish dance.

    I keep finding myself wanting to delete my account then I realize how much I missed my SparkFriends when I did that the first time. I am heavier than I have ever been my entire life! Now I'm 69 and feeling defeated, but I will keep trying, but not sure which program will be the best for me just now. Low cal; then I'm too hungry. Low sugar; then I get cravings. Low carbs; I get bored. SIGH! Just have to plod along hoping for the miracle that I keep praying for each night.
