Introduction Text Hi my name is Shannon and i'm a mom of a teenage daughter who lives at home and a wife of a disabled vet. Not any less than the one at home I have two other children one of which will need me to take care of her for the rest of her life once I get her home. Just over 4 years ago I lost 40 lbs so I could give my husband a kidney and have since gained it all back. I'm here for a few reasons. 1. To lose weight 2. To get healthy 3. To get help losing weight because I've realized I can't do it on my own. I want to be around a long time to take care of those that need me. I've also joined the local T.O.P.S. group in my home town in hopes the extra support and accountability will help me in this journey. My main goal is to lose 75 lbs and tone up what is hanging around.

I lost almost 40 lbs so I could give my husband a kidney 4 years ago and I did that by myself by logging my food and activities daily on another site. Unfortunately after surgery I gained back all of those lbs and am now determined to take that off and more so I live longer than my aunt and mom did.
