Introduction Text *************************************** Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my SparkPage. My name is Lace and I live in Buna, TX. I'm married and have two children. Both girls ages 11 & 7. I also have a German Shepherd mix named Duffy, a German Shepard named Jacob, 6 cats named Disco, Buttercup, Angel, Beastie, Snowball and Pickle. I am currently in school to become a licensed Nail Tech, this is very exciting as I will complete school in March and will be able to use my creativity on a daily basis. I am very creative and like to scrapbook and do crafts, and I enjoy going out and having fun. My newest & deepest love is Roller Derby. I love to hang out with my family... the best is when we have a fire going and Keith and I kick back and drink some beers... or when we go muddin'. He and I also enjoy going to death metal concerts, airshows, and occasionally taking a weekend to go to Lake Charles and gamble. I make candles to earn a little extra spending money for myself... You know ~ for tattoos, piercings, hair dye and such. :) We like to travel a lot and so far we have been able to take our children to Taos, New Mexico (twice), Baltimore,MD, and Yellowstone National Park ~ all by car so we got to stop at interesting places along the way. We have also flown to California twice and visited San Diego, Los Angeles, and Seqouia National Forest. I'm looking to lose 36 pounds, but mostly I want to tone up! No, that's not right... actually I want to feel pretty. I want to feel comfortable enough with myself to have my picture taken at all the awesome places we go visit. I want to get more tattoos. I find that my self esteem is way better when I'm on some sort of exercise program. So really it's a two-for-one, when I exercise, I feel better about myself, and I actually look better, too! I've been watching those around me, at my job, and I notice the older folks suffer from aches and pains of the back and knees. I am getting older and realize that I need to start taking care of myself and strengthening my body so I do not have the same issues to contend with as I age. **************************************** REWARDS!!! 10 pounds off ~ Mani & Pedi 20 pounds off ~ New outfit (& new nightie!!) 30 pounds off ~ Tattoo 36 pounds off ~ Spa DAY!!! Full on pampering!!! *************************************** My 10 Rules for LIFE! 1. Live for the day 2. Say what you mean and mean what you say 3. Celebrate each small accomplishment as you would a major achievement. 4. Look at the world and stop to smell the roses. 5. Do NOT Panic it will all be okay. (Eventually) 6. The only thing you truly control in life are your choices. 7.Everyone has a lesson they can teach or a lesson to be learned. 8.I have no control over the numbers on the scale. I only control how much physical activity I get and what I choose to ingest. 9.My progress will be measured by how active I am that day and my food choices. 10.I will not berate myself if my body needs to rest. I will give my body what it needs that day. 11.I will not be unkind to myself. 12.I will learn to love myself unconditionally. 13.I will learn to live passionately and with as much love for myself as I have for others. ************************************ My Rights as a Woman I have the right to be a GODDESS.
