Welcome to my Sparkpage!!
My new favorite saying is..."If you build it they will come"
This saying really speaks to me. If I put in the work the results will come. I am not making a bucket list. I am not setting short term goals but I am making a "I will do" list. It will change weekly.

Week 1 July 6-12 This week here are my daily lists of things I will do...

1. Prepare at least 1 healthy meal at home each day
2. Practice mindfulness for 15 minutes
3. Exercise for 30 minutes
4. Track everything I put in my mouth
5. Eat 2 fruits/vegetables
6. Drink at least 8 glasses of water
7. Plan my menu for the next 2 weeks
8. Do something for me for at least 15 minutes
9. Spend quality time with DH

I will write my updates each week to track my progress.

Walking 2 times a week



Personal Information:
I am grandmother to 6 beautiful grandchildren, mother to 3 stunning daughters and wife to the most wonderful man and my best friend.
I love to scrapbook, read, color, sing and do lots of crafts with my grandchildren.

    Do you sometimes feel that there aren’t enough hours in the day?

    Sometimes you just have to let yourself off the hook.
    Forget everything you didn’t check off your to do list,
    forgive yourself for your mistakes, and stop dwelling on
    everything you thought you could have done better.
    The past is behind you, and it can only control you
    if you let it.
    So let go of what you should have done, and focus on
    doing the best you can going forward today.

    Allow yourself a little breathing room. Sometimes you just can’t “chuck it all” and ignore the clock - say getting out the door on time to arrive at work on time, a doctor’s appointment, that important meeting, or something equally time-sensitive.

    Many times we unconsciously put restrictions on ourselves; but why put extra pressure on yourself with your own self-restrictions? Give yourself permission to take a few precious moments to calm and relax yourself - even if it means just lingering in “that pleasant place” for a little while longer. . .

    Doing this in a conscious and mindful way will actually help you breeze through your day with a smile on your face.
    Give this a try this week - allowing yourself to “flow” through your day
    at a comfortable pace, and allowing yourself to linger in things you find relaxing to you.
