I am originally from Albany, Oregon. I am currently in Chalkyitsik, Alaska. I'll be taking the 2012-2013 school year off to take care of some personal issues, take some college classes to become even more over qualified, and to get into shape. One year for me!

 I need to spend some time taking care of me, so I can be better at taking care of others.

    Good morning LINDA on this first full day of spring. I got up to receive an applause. That does not happen very often. Thank you for the applause and thinking of me this 21st day of March,.

    The physical therapists are "waking" up parts of my body that have not moved since the middle of December and those parts remind me oh so well - thank you.

    No eclipse here due to snow, rain and ice falling from the sky. It is two degrees here at 7:00 a.m. and overcast, gloomy. I am not able to participate in snow removal because of surgery. Doctors have told me not to lift any more than eight pounds. It is been five weeks surgery and I wonder how long they hold these restrictions. Things are advancing since I now am able to get my old body into and out of bed without assistance. That is such an improvement.. I am making the effort to get around without the aid of the cumbersome walker too.

    Today is Martin Luther King's Day "I have a dream". Thank you for thinking of me and sending positive vibes from the west coast. I can just feel them!

    Thank you, LINDA, for the new book. A gift from LINDA - thank you. I am healing from this past surgery or two surgery exposures. And I am continued to be told that it will be a long time healing from this past major surgery. And what goes with it - a lot of discomfort. A major improvement for me today - I was able to get out of bed on my own. We will get there just going to be a test of my will.
