Introduction Text Hello….My name is Susan, and this actually my third time (hopefully the charm) utilizing Sparkpeople’s website as encouragement to adopt a healthier lifestyle, learn new behavioral substitutions and to meet new people or connect with old friends with the same goals or struggles that I still wrestle with daily.

1. To adopt and maintain healthy eating habits. 2. To record daily entries in my food journal-still struggling with this one. 3. To refrain from being a slave to the scale. 4. To get outdoors more, and enjoy nature.

I'm an Aquatic Fitness Instructor, I teach (2) Aqua Arthritis classes per week, and (1) moderate to high intensity Water Aerobics class. I purchased A Surge Fitbit last December and I’ve been very active with maintaining an average of 10,000 steps per day, I would like to increase my day-to-day steps to a minimal of 15,000 per day, and to include some type of weight training into my daily exercise regime.
