Fun, huh? The last time I was on roller skates, I had a key to the ones you strapped on your shoes. LOL
After a midnight thunderstorm, we spent the next 18 hours without electricity. I've just gone around and plugged in the electronics and reset the digital clocks. Knowing DH's penchant for doing things his way, I also had to untie the refrigerator door handles, which I'd secured at 4 a.m. I had no idea how long the power would be out, and don't you know, he drove to get his morning coffee and was wanting the creamer from the fridge. Nope, you get powdered creamer and that's the final word. Sometimes you have to pick your battles and I wasn't letting a refrigerator full of food go bad for his cream.
Are you teaching virtually or has your school just given up on the school year? Certainly you don't have to work out the rest of your contract by working next fall, do you?

Thank you for the goodie. True, it isn't luck, but God who blesses us. He doesn't get enough credit for the good and gets wrongfully blamed for the bad. Has your school been closed for three weeks? Our districts statewide are closed. I just feel sorry for the parents who have to find care for their kids and for the kids who have never been taught to "go outside and play" or "find something to do". No whining was allowed. We created our own fun. Of course, we had the run of the neighborhood and there were no worries about anything bad happening to us. Every parent was OUR parent--people watched out for one another. May your days be blessed. emoticon

Stopping in to say emoticon and hoping you enjoyed your long weekend (that is, unless you had a workshop yesterday. I remember the kids getting off and us still having to show up for those).
