Introduction Text Recently I listened to a Sermon on "Life Changes" and I had to agree with the message...life does change and shift on us all the time. Handling those shifts and changes is the difficult part. All to often the way we handle them is what gets us into trouble, or leads us to places and situations we really don't want to be in. That is me for sure...In the last 10 years I feel like I have been on a roller-coaster in my life. Really good times going up and really bad ones going down...so far things have not leveled out. I tried for a while to handle it myself...I can do it...I'll be ok...Well on my own I cannot handle it...I need the help of my savior Jesus Christ, and that of educated and encouraging friends, that I can have actual physical person to person contact with. Accountability people...Thanks be to God I now have a whole slew of them...Through Tiny Temples a ladies weight loss group sponsored through my church First Baptist Church of Rosamond I have the spiritual mentoring from Sue Mc Isacc who leads our group with Celebrate Recovery Materials...in this group we pray for each other, and discuss struggles we experience and learn together how to lean in on Jesus and each other for help. I also have personal fitness coaches at my fitness center Curves of Rosamond...Mary, Robyn and Doreen who council and coach me in all areas of diet and exercise. Things are changing...and shifting, still...I am learning how to handle them better...and the future looks brighter, more promising.

getting off to a slow start...my goal is to loose 45 lbs. from where I am today , That would be going from 172 down to 127. I am like everyone else and would love to loose it all by the end of spring. But I have recently had to reevaluate my goals and become more realistic with them. so I am aiming for a 17 lbs. weight loss by July 2014. that come out to 3 lbs. a month or 3/4 of a lb. each week.

I have three ladies near by who are helping me with my work outs....My mom who just started curves and currently goes in the afternoons two to three times a week, My neighbor Amber who started a month after me and goes daily M-F in the mornings, my friend Dee Rogers who started recently also and goes when ever she can. Now I just need to find a way to incorporate all three in to each week.

Born again Believer, Redeemed and Sanctified by the Holy Ghost.. Born and raised in California, USA Married and mother of 10 natural born children. Preparing for the empty nest which looms ahead in the next 5 years. I hope to be able to travel, and regain my own personal interests again.
