    Belly dancing IS cool, and a lot of fun. I shimmy those hips everywhere, & it's helped me lose 1 1/2" off my hips & 1" off my waist (due to firmer muscles). I recommend it to everyone. While you're online, visit your Sparkfriends' Pages and then visit the teams that they belong to. You'll be amazed at the teams that are out there, & you might find something new to try.     Welcome to the Thyroid Forum! Glad you found us. As you've prolly already discovered, its much harder for us Hypos to loose weight and maintain that loss. So its good to be amongst those that support and understand this. "Normals" just think we're cheating on our diet or not working out hard enuf! Bah!

    Looks like you caught your thyroid problem before it resulted in too much weight gain, good for you!

    Lots of info on our forums, check out the threads and ask if you still have questions. You'll find that not every solution works for evey Body. The challenge for everyone here is to chart their own unique course to your individual circumstances and physiology.
