To a healthier, happier, longer life for each of us.
Motto: I Can and I Will
On June 1st, 2006, I weighed more than I ever had - one hundred fifty one pounds. (When I purchased a new scale in July, I found that my old scale indicated 4 pounds less than the new one. So, I must have weighed 155. Yikes!!) I immediately made the decision to lose weight. The majority of my life, I've managed to keep my weight below one hundred ten pounds. So, my goal weight is one hundred nine pounds.

My Goals:
To be healthy, reduce my cholesterol, increase my HDL and weigh 109 or less.
My Program:
I'm keeping a log of everything I consume and entering on SparkPeople to track the calories, etc. After finding SparkPeople, I began an exercise program; and, am now up to ninety minutes of bicycle riding, three times a week. (The first time I thought I'd never make it to thirty minutes (I did it but not very fast). However, I'm very determined to meet my goals.

I've lived in hot, humid but beautiful Virginia since November 1974.
