I am finding fasts much easier the longer I do them. Even Monday is working out better. Thank you for the encouragement, I needed it.

Thanks dDawn. Be persistent, don't get discouraged when little setbacks occur and you'll eventually reach your goal.

    Hi Bob!
Thanks for your comment on my blog. It's nice to hear from someone who has witnessed my journey up and down on the scale! It's also nice to be reminded that I have been consistent with my exercise program, even it is minimal at times. You always stay so consistent! You always have good advice!
    Take care,

    Hi Bob,
Great "seeing you"! Thanks for the encouragement. It really did feel great getting rid of the potatoes! Silly, huh? I did hang on to the apple pie for two more days, having a little sliver each night with a 1/4 cup vanilla ice cream. I didn't drop an ounce until I finally threw the rest of that away. My husband is not tempted by stuff like that, so I was the only one eating it. Although he did polish off about 2 lbs of salami single handedly! So, I'm back on track, but, alas, I'm cooking a prime rib tonight for New Year's Eve!

I know what you mean about the work goodies! I'm a kindergarten teacher. Teachers are notorious eaters. We always have junk in the staff room. And it's hard to keep from indulging in the "little cupcakes" the kids bring in for their birthdays!

Well, it looks like you have been maintaining pretty well! Keep up the good work and have a Happy New Year!
