I was thin long ago, in a galaxy far away ...but had the wrong motivators and cigarettes to maintain a size 4.

Now I'm making changes so I can age beautifully, travel and do things comfortably, and feel great about myself.

Personal Information:
Soon to be 61 years old, moved around a lot as a child. Last high school: Clear Creek in League City. Graduated UT Austin in '67.

Worked in PR, media, advertising, concert biz,broadcasting plus writing, management and sales.

I want to go to Italy's Amalfi Coast and I have to be able to walk uphill (a lot) on cobblestones.

Other Information:
 Love to read, paint. Going to get back into sewing, gardening, cooking.

Love to spend time with friends, shop, travel.

    I was reading something you'd written in response to Sally's blog. You said: 'The drive for perfection is lauded in our society by those who aren't prisoners to its demands.' Wonderfully written. I have to admit, tho, the first time I read it I read 'dementia' for 'demands.' And when I thought about it, I decided I don't want to be prisoner either to society's demands OR its dementia, lol...

    Thanks for stopping my blog on sticks and stones..and for your comments .

    You do sound like a very sensitive person...but that is a good thing..because you probably care very much about how you affect others..
    It took me many years to learn to walk away from harm...and I should have known better because I came from a very nurturing, supportive family, but the truth is that I thought I had to make allowances so as not to hurt anyone.
    I still try never to hurt anyone with my words, and I have learned to stay away from people who do not treat others kindly.
