I am 40 yrs old, married with 2 boys, 14 and 11. I guess it time to finally get down to the grindstone and get this weight off. I try to stay active and workout, but I can't seem to get the inches and pounds off...

April 7- Maybe I should re-evaluate this... I fell behind on my goals that I wanted to acheive.

I still want to be 135 lbs. by our anniversery July 28..
to get there I need to lose at least 7 lbs a month from now on...

April 5- 166 lbs. only lost 4 lbs....from beginning March 1
April 30- 158 lb.
May 31- 150 lbs.
June 30 -142 lbs.
July 28- 135 lbs.

I am going to limit my carbs as well as limit my calories... hopefully this will work.. Oh don't forget the working out part... I have gone to 6 days a week, which should be interesting considering my oldest is in track , then baseball, then football... Will I ever have time????

I am watching my caloried and working out 5-6 days a week. I am doing Turbo Jam and som strenght trainging...



Personal Information:
I have finally it the 40 mark and I still look like crap.... cellulite sucks....I now have a motorcycle of my own and I want to look decent riding it to work. I have 2 wonderful boys 14 & 11. My husband just looks at me and shakes his head when I'm working out, but oh well. At least I'm not sitting on my butt watching TV...

    I did 45 minutes of cardio last night - do Jillian Michaels tonight. I seem to be losing more doing her workout than my Turbo Jam workouts emoticon

    emoticon He just turned 3 - did it falling off a chair. Problem is, he broke his leg right after his first birthday. This seems to be a trend! emoticon He's in a cast, and they don't believe there will be any problems.

    Sorry for not keeping in touch - I've been so busy with transitioning the boys to a new sitter, and trying to "spring" clean. We leave for our trip in a little over 2 weeks - I can't wait! It's been a LONGGGGGGG winter here in Nova Scotia (we STILL have snow on the ground emoticon ) It'll be nice to lie on a hot beach for a week emoticon
    TRYING to keep on track, but some days it's hard...........at least my "work-in-progress" pictures are giving me some motivation! emoticon

    Hey we have similar goals!! I as wondering if you want to be buddies..I put my final goal to be 125 but treally im looking to look and feel good anywhere in between 125-135..depending which I look better..Maybe we can just keep in touch once a week and motivate each other?? emoticon
